Niels Jørgen Haugesen[5]

Niels Jørgen Haugesen (1936–2013) was a notable Danish designer. After graduating from the Danish School of Arts, Crafts and Design, he worked with Arne Jacobsen, whose craftsmanship and attention to detail shaped Haugesen’s minimalist style. His designs, defined by clean lines and structural clarity, reflected values like integrity and humility. Rather than seeking fame, he focused on function and purpose. In 1977, he created the iconic X-Line Chair.
