Martin Solem^[1]

Norwegian designer Martin Solem (born 1985) is based in Copenhagen, where he initially moved to immerse himself in Danish design. After working for Rud. Rasmussen, he studied design at The Royal Danish Design School, graduating in 2014. He has since collaborated with brands such as Cappellini and Bernhardt Design, exhibiting his work in Paris, London, and Oslo. In addition to his independent projects, he serves as Head of Product Development – Furniture at HAY. Solem focuses on practical yet innovative design, believing that good design must be both functional and realistic.
